Farnkraut         Nursery for hardy ferns

founded in 2002

Introduction

Ferns belong to a species that has already been existing for more than 350 million years on our planet.

Their primeval appearance has remained almost unchanged till this day.

Their habitat is primarily in wooded areas, for which reason they are particularly suited for the plantation
           in shady positions.

Ferns belong to the spore plants (Pteridophyta), thus they develop no blossoms.

Their fascinating effect comes about by the manifold form and colour of the fronds.
